I'm in the same situation. Sent our application April 19th and was recieved April 21st..and we are STILL waiting for our AOR. From what I have been reading from this forum April applications are kinda backlogged. I guess just be patient I know it can take 4-6 weeks to get an AOR...but with CIC you never know. You can always call to see if you can get some sort of update.
Calling them without application number might be bit tough to get any information, they might give generic response oh we are working on such and such date applications etc.
Even with an application number it is hard to get hold of anyone that actually will help you :).

Hey guys, my application was recieved on April 18, haven't got an AOR still....getting worried :(
Thinking of making call next week. What number should I call?

Question, if in the SC email it mentions submission of Schedule A only, of which then it goes on to say upon receiving it, will transfer to a VO. Does that mean medical and PCC are not required?

No. Everyone has to do those. We had mention of Sched A in our SA letter - the medical request and police check letters came separately.

What does your email look like, does it look like something that we received, have a look at my signature i posted link to what our Schedule A request looks like.

The Sponsor actually received the Sponsorship Approval e-mail and letter with the Schedule A request. There's no PCC request within that letter to the Sponsor, and at the end it just says that upon receiving the Schedule A, the file will be sent to VO for processing. And it doesn't indicate which VO, unfortunately (I'm guessing Singapore).

As the PA, I have not "received" the Schedule A request in my own e-mail inbox. Should I be expecting one?

well my application was returned because my lovely husband PA went and renewed his passport after application was submitted even tho it doesnt expire until May2018 so they sent application back May 12 and requested copy of new passport.

No problem - for context

Mar 1: App Received
Mar 13: SA in process
Mar 14: AOR
Mar 28: Request for medical, fingerprints, and police check (Canada)
Mar 29: SA
Apr 25: Sched A received/in process
May 12: Transferred to VO

Is your timeline considered quick?

So now that your files are on the way to the VO, it's only pending interview (if requested), or just DM and then COPR/PPR? I'm curious what happens in the VO.

Our letter said we should get something within 5 days. We never did. We went ahead and mailed it. You will find out what VO after all docs are received at CPC Miss and your ecas turns to in process on the residency portion. You'll then get a letter stating the VO. On new application, SA letter does not contain the VO anymore.

The VO does the police check and background check. Then DM after that barring any issues. If you see my other post - they are holding apps at CPC miss longer now to get all docs required and check at a high level that everything is there before sending to the VO :)

CIC Mississauga received our application April 21 but we didn't receive an AOR yet. But I went online to try and link my spouses app today and it worked! I suspect we will be getting the email soon. We are quite excited!

Quick question. My wife is Korean but lived in the Philippines for a little over 6 months before studying English there almost 10 years ago now but she doesn't remember the address where she stayed and we have to look at how to do the background check. Does anyone know what we can do in this situation for schedule A?
