Hiii!!! If they asked you to send the passport, you're accepted!!!

For my husband, it took 7 days to return the passport! Maybe they will have few more papers to process in your case, but it should not take that long!

If I was you, I would try to put some new documents... Send the send job offer, but add maybe some letters from your family? Where you will live and everything...

Hi all
I just want to know from your cases how long does it take for passport to be returned to you after you send it to the embassy ?
And if you were requested to send your passport by courier , will they return it to you by courier too ? Or you can go and take it in person ?
And can we put the envelop with the return address ( the address of the office of DHL ) and we can go grab it from there ! Or how does things work ? Please explain for me

Hi deemaom,
For us, it took 7 days to get the passport back. We send it with DHL, and they send it back with DLH too. When you received it, you pay the shipment of course.

From what I know, you cannot go to take it in person. But finally, it's not so long, so that's ok. Good luck!!

So they sent it back to the Dhl office and then u webt and picked it up right ?
We were thinking of putting a prepaid envelop with the passport when we send with the return adress on it . I dont want them to return it to the home address they have on file since my husband is never at home . So this way we assure they send it to the office right ?

I am sorry, I have no idea if this will work... I guess it would. Otherwise they will send it to the address they have. DHL called my husband and he went to pick it up...

Desert Flower, sorry to hassle you again. I was just wondering... My husband sent the passport from his work via aramex... Will they automatically send it back to the address it was sent from (in my case my husbands work), or will they send it to the address they have on file for us (being his mothers home address)?

I would say to the address in your application, so his mother's home.

Hi can you share what happened with you ? I have a similar situation and Dhl didnt let me put a prepaid envelop to return the passport woth . And i dont want them to send the passport back to the address they have on file because my husband works late hours and he is never at home . I want him to pick it up from dhl office . We sent the passport today

I am still waiting for it.. no one has called us. Also, no one is currently living at my mother in laws address... one traveled to saudia and the mother is with the sister for a while in Alexandria

So I am a bit worried. If they do end up calling me... I'll let you know as soon as possible.. We are now on the second week since we sent it and it was received in the embassy
