I even asked here in canada they said when they request the passport that means everythibg is done and they should return it very soon

No news for us as well . I spoke to the MP and he told me that the criminal check for my husband didnt start yet i am so shocked how they requested the passport if they are bot done yet . We have to do something with this visa office Gyus lets all send them emails and tell them they cant hold...

When did they sent u the email? Today ! And yes you can email for extention

Why do you need to show your work experince ? Did they ask you specifically or ask for anything ? If you are going through spousal sponsorship you dont need that And i suggest you ask a lawyer before you pay any amount of money

no but we had the worst experience with cairo visa office I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my husband from egypt , i dont know why it took that long :S maybe because the Canadian embassy also closed for sometime in Egypt and they are super slow

Same woth us , but we didnt have DM yet . They just sent us email asking for the passport , two pictures and hight and eye color . But usually the passport comes back after 15 days max :( i dont know why its taking that long . When we emaild them they say pending security clerance

It is for my husband passport , he did send them email and asked about the return of passport how long it is going to take and urge them to join us in Canada soon . but that was their reply its under security check :S I know that when they request the passport everything should be done ! lol...

I sent it on may 22 and they didnt send it back yet . The email i recived is pending security clerance ! Is this normal for them to keep the passport for that long ? They have to give people approximate time how long they willkeep the passport ? What should we do !
