I have received the NOI while still waiting for my spouse's ECA report to come which I expect around 28th May. I am confused about one thing however, if I update my profile with my spouse's ECA, would that affect my present NOI negatively , as I received it with the present CRS score? With that ECA my score will jump from 416 to 424. Any thoughts guys?

I believe 60 days is incorrect, it's 6 month, NOI will be valid since you received that.
Oh yes. Thanks for correcting me.

Wow! That's unbelievable! Congrats!

Mannn.....ur like the luckiest person in this whole form! Might I suggest you go buy yourself a few lottery tickets too..... with your streak, you never know :D:D

Thanks!! And, I did buy a lottery ticket. It cost me 550 CAD (WES:223 + IELTS:300 + MISC:27), and about 8 years of experience in NOC A Job. My ticket number is CRS-408, and I have absolutely no clue about the draw date.

Well, jokes apart, here's a thought provoking thought that's been nagging my reasonable mind:

BASIS
  • Ontario only sends NOIs to profiles with 400+ CRS
  • The NOIs aren't automated by a computer. Hence, Ontario has someone working at $$$ per hour to do the screening and sending out of NOIs.
CONCERNS
  • If CRS cut-off is to decline and reach 400, all the NOIs issued so far become obsolete.
  • The NOI exercise becomes futile and the $$$ paid to whoever is assigned to send them, become a waste.
DEDUCTION / GUESS
  • I cannot get luckier than this, my streak ends here. The CRS may not fall below 410, after all. Profiles with CRS below 411 and above 399 will be obligated to accept the NOIs.
However, being a Ray of Hope thread, the following is equally likely and I bet it will happen:
  • Ontario will reduce the CRS eligibility to 350+
  • The processing fee may drop to 200-300 CAD like PEI's PNP, etc.
  • The PNP scheme may be totally revised in June.
Best!!

How many do we have after getting NOI from Ontario?

Their site says the below.

  • Once I receive a “PT notification of interest”, how many days do I have to apply?
Once you receive your “PT notification of interest” you will have 45 days to submit a complete application to MCI.

I thought we will be having six months.

Please clarfiy.

The site says within 6 month one need to submit application, haven't read 45 days anywhere.... I may be incorrect.. pls anyone confirm

Doesnt seem crs will go down any more in near future. If it does so then ontario will face lot of loss in terms of PNP 1500$ fees. This logic make sense but i also wish it to go down as my noc doesnt fit for ontario neither have noi. For those who have general engineering degrees and other non specialized degrees i would recommend them to go for ontario as it is the most developed province and job aspects will be better than other provinces. Good Luck!

I think you were at the right place in the right time! And your logic with changes in OINP makes a lot of sense! Gool luck to us all!

Waiting for draw, hope there will be one this week. This draw 3800 for CRS 425 i guess...

Good to see that OINP is issuing NOIs.

Now, I've been trying to create a new profile in the same GCKey, but not able to. Do we have to necessarily withdraw the existing profile before attempting to create a new one.

Good to know that. I have about 10 years of experience.

I think someone receives noi even today. However, I think you should create profile as soon as you can so as not to miss one.
