Thanks!! And, I did buy a lottery ticket. It cost me 550 CAD (WES:223 + IELTS:300 + MISC:27), and about 8 years of experience in NOC A Job. My ticket number is CRS-408, and I have absolutely no clue about the draw date.
Well, jokes apart, here's a thought provoking thought that's been nagging my reasonable mind:
BASIS
- Ontario only sends NOIs to profiles with 400+ CRS
- The NOIs aren't automated by a computer. Hence, Ontario has someone working at $$$ per hour to do the screening and sending out of NOIs.
CONCERNS
- If CRS cut-off is to decline and reach 400, all the NOIs issued so far become obsolete.
- The NOI exercise becomes futile and the $$$ paid to whoever is assigned to send them, become a waste.
DEDUCTION / GUESS
- I cannot get luckier than this, my streak ends here. The CRS may not fall below 410, after all. Profiles with CRS below 411 and above 399 will be obligated to accept the NOIs.
However, being a
Ray of Hope thread, the following is equally likely and I bet it will happen:
- Ontario will reduce the CRS eligibility to 350+
- The processing fee may drop to 200-300 CAD like PEI's PNP, etc.
- The PNP scheme may be totally revised in June.
Best!!
