From 440 it's impossible to come down to 336 because of a birthday, maybe you wanted to say 434.Hi Guys,
I am a newbie here though I have been reading the posts from this thread as well as the previous one (ray of hope 61st). I am not yet in the pool. My immigration lawyers are acting like a tortoise for some reason. I have given all my documents along with my IELTS score (L 8.5, R 9, W 7, S 8.5), IQAS assessment and all other relevant information and USD 900 to them. They still keep on asking me new questions every week. There replying process is also very slow. Now I wish I would have created the profile myself instead of paying them.
I have a few questions and would really appreciate if you guys could answer.
My individual score was 440 but came down to 334 as I had my birthday just few days back. If I apply with my spouse my score is 411. Should I apply alone or include my spouse in my application? Also, if I decided to apply alone, can I include my child who is 7 years old in my application? Would my application not be considered as individual but family if I apply with my child, and my score would go down? I know if I get an ITA as as individual applicant I would have to go to Canada and live there for a year before I can sponsor my spouse. But can't my spouse get a visitor visa during that time and come and live with me at least for half of that duration? As a family, we are getting desperate to at least get ITA for one person in the family so that sooner or later all of us can reach Canada.
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the reply. Yes it was a typo. My score came down to 434. I would take your suggestion and apply with my husband (I am a woman, maybe the name was misleading ). My lawyers are also suggesting that I apply with my family. But with family the score would be 411.From 440 it's impossible to come down to 336 because of a birthday, maybe you wanted to say 434.
And to answer the questions about your wife and child, better apply with her. The wait would be too long if you don't. With 411 you can get a NOI from Ontario soon, or even wait for the scores to go down in the next couple months and get the ITA directly.
Also, it isn't worth it to pay to immigration lawyers, because the CIC explains everything really well. And what they don't, you can find in these forums.
Good luck brother.
Yes! there is no need of hiring Immigration Consultant if you are not a super busy person. However, your lawyers are absolutely correct in suggesting you that you should apply with your family to avoid future inconvenience. Thanks for the reply. Yes it was a typo. My score came down to 434. I started reading the forums little late, before then I had already paid the lawyers. Now I guess it is already done. Just have to hope that they start working rather than ask me same questions every week.
If applicant is married and alone, it takes 5 yrs post which I believe they can sponsor spouse.... Additionally, medical being too expensive there, person with visitor visa won't get medical benefits from govt. However alternatively they may have to take paid medical insurance on visitor visa. Thanks for the reply. Yes it was a typo. My score came down to 434. Hi, in writing i only used to write just 250 words and scored 7 and 6.5 but i read in on of the websites that if u need to score more than 7 in writing u have to write more than 350 words and in my last attempt i managed 7.5 in writingHi brother - we are on exactly same boat. my IELTS score is also L9, R8, S7 and W6.5 and my CRS is 410.
I'm appearing tomorrow again for IETLS and lets see. This time only, I have prepared my writing skills through Ieltsbuddy.com
This website has helped alot and i now know mistakes so I think you should try to go through this website and try your luck.
What's your NOC??Well, the streak continued. I received an NOI from Ontario, today; Canada beckons me the very day I created my EE profile.
Yes. My situation is kinda similar. I am at 417. We need to make the payment before the draw takes place. If we miss out on the payment and OINP filing, we lose the nomination and no guarantee of CRS to fall to 417. Please suggest.Hey Harry,
I think you got an NOI from Ontario which means you now have 6 months to apply to the province for a nomination.
Congratulations.
Like Omar and Andie have already suggested, with your score you've a very good chance of receiving a direct ITA. Just wait and watch for a few draws and then make up your mind about the OINP. BTW the application fees is 1500 CAD.
But it seems they are inviting people randomly above 400 (although i thought differently). There is one member here who is a lawyer and he reveives the noi yesterday. Similarly, I am a philosophy lecturer, and I also got the noi.I guess you mean a list of NOC to receive a NOI.
Please read my previous post.
There isn't a list per se, but they seem to be inviting a lot of engineers and similar profession that have a NOC that starts with 21*.
Also, if you created your profile before May 5th, be sure to re-create it so that they can find it easily as by their own recommendation.
