Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Anyway...been a slice folks... I'll check in to make sure everything is still on the rails from time to time...
Ditto! Call me a creature of habit, but I'm not really fussy on this new format at all...not to mention that it all but cripples my old computer that used to work just fine with the old forums. Now, I have to use a computer in the kitchen, which is not nearly as convenient. I suspect my presence here will all but die, which is ok; time to move on I suppose. ;)

Wow, Ya Profiler is right as always, BTW, what is your timeline Maina?

Hi guys I got this by email yesterday. What does exactly it means

Dear XXXX
This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Spouse or
Common-Law Partner in Canada Class.
We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The
Canada Immigration Centre in Etobicoke IRCC will contact you to arrange an appointment for
the finalization of your permanent resident application.
IMPORTANT: You and your family members, if any, will be required to present original
identification document(s) to the Canada Immigration Centre at your appointment. A final
decision concerning the granting of permanent residence status will be made at that time. If
permanent residence is granted, the name that will appear on the confirmation of permanent
resident document is your name as it appears on your passport or identity documents.
Passport / Travel Document
The passport / travel document that we have on record for you bears the number XXX
 If you are in possession of this passport / travel document, you must bring it with you to
your appointment at the Canada Immigration Centre.
 If this passport / travel document was seized by CBSA, it will be sent to the Canada
Immigration Centre directly and will be returned to you at your appointment. Do not
contact CBSA to retrieve it as it will not be released to you until your appointment at the
Canada Immigration Centre.
 If you are in possession of a new passport / travel document, you must contact this office
immediately.
Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
The Right of Permanent Residence Fee in the amount of $490.00 is required before you can
become a permanent resident in Canada. The Confirmation of Permanent Residence document
will not be issued to you until this payment is made. If you have not already made this payment,
you must submit proof of this payment to this office as soon as possible via e-mail, facsimile or
mail at:

If you don't mind Profiler, can those pics be shared to me as well? :) and Congrats on the landing again :)

Thanks Carol... She was drunk an hour after it was all done....and over the weekend too... She considers it "Canadian citizenship". She doesn't do politics (Russia: woting isn't real). She doesn't want a high sec job, so the theory is, the rest is formality....

She was nervous up until the exact questions I told her would be asked, in the very same order, were asked... She broke out laughing at the window when he asked about crimes....

I did pass around a pre and post pic... I am not sure if you can see relief on her face or not...

Browning: what would you say?

my passport expired so now cic sent request for me to renew passport may 2nd.
and before you ask..passport was not in my possession(long story)... so another 2 months added to my timeline i guess.
any cases where landing was done without valid passport in hand? i will be sending cic receipt of payment for passport renewal... do you think i would land with that or when i have new passport in hand?

Yikes, and by not having it in your possesion.. you're not saying that CBSA has it either? unfortunately I am not familiar with anyone having it done without the valid passport in hand unless CBSA has it. Maybe someone else can verify this

I do have my passport in possession now...just that cbsa had it and didn't want to give it to me until immigration yelled at them because it's slowing me down. Now got mail that the passport is the only thing holding me up. It takes either 3-6 weeks or 6-8weeks for the whole process of renewal but just like when doing the pcc of can you can send cic a receipt to show that you paid to do it and just waiting
.
