I have received an ITA on Oct 19. My points were 481 at that time. I had a question regarding Intended work in Canada. My situation is as under:
-- I am an employee of TCS India deputed to Canada on ICT visa (Closed work permit) since June 2015.
-- My employer has already filed my WP extension on Nov 10, 2016 as my WP is expiring on Jan, 2017.

So what should I answer in the section "Intended work in Canada" -
Do you have a valid job offer in Canada?
Pre-ITA I said Yes to this question but later understood from Canadavisa forum that this was meant for LMIA employees only. (I answered No to LMIA ques at that time so not awarded with any points for arraned employment)
If I say No now, should that be wrong pre-ITA I had said yes.

Please help me in this.

You had received ITA before the Nov 19th 2016 changes and you did mention about Job Offer from the employer "Yes". Did you claim any points for the Job Offer prior to pre-ITA, If yes then you need to provide the Job offer letter else it would mean misrepresentation. If no then, check below

After the Nov 19th 2016 Changes have been incorporated to add 50 Points for ICT Folks with few Caveats which is mentioned in the news.

This one has to be No LMIA exempt for specific employer

You haven't claimed any point which is one important thing.

You haven't submitted the application post ITA then you can correctly present the information now and include a explanation letter to make your position strong.

Another thing you can do is, you must have your Canada letter from HR for review before attorney's submit your application, so you can use that and wait for your latest WP through email to include it along with the Canada letter if time permits.

Thanks

Hi everyone I was wondering if someone would be able to help me with this specific section Intended Work in Canada where it's asks if I have a job offer in Canada?

I've been working in Canada under post graduation work permit for over two years so what do I answer in this section?

If I answer YES, it's asking for offer letter and employement letter. What should the offer letter? My initial letter of employment when I started with my current employer or position?

If it should be NO in my case, would it matter if I had answered YES before I got the ITA?

Please help!

Thank you,
Qazi
