Outland spousal

Hi everyone,

I am Chinese and my sponsor is Canadian. We sent our outland family application 2 weeks ago (outland application but we live in Canada) and we didnt receive any notice from CIC yet..

Basically we sent to the Missisauga place which is indicated on the CIC website. Do I have to send something to HongKong visa office at the same time? How do i know if the Missisauga place has received my stuff or not?

CIC sends acknowledgement (AOR1) after 45-60 days after receiving application. Then they take 1-2 week to send your application to HongKong and send you AOR2.
You don't have to send anything to HongKong, they will contact you if they need any doc or etc.

I'm sure you have sent application through any courier and they you can track it to find when it was delivered to CIC.
