If you have G No ( Application No ) you can contact IRCC and ask about your pre arrival & Eligibility .
I have my wife's application number, and my name is on her acknowledgment letter with my UCI number.
Is it working?
Can I link the application to my GCkey account? It is linked only to my wife's GCkey account.
And how can I contact IRCC?

I applied for PR in January 14, 2023 and received AOR in October 2023 and Received the pre-arrival letter in March4,2024 and have received an other document from the High Commission of Canada to Kenya that they are processing my wife’s application and I need to complete some missing documents within 60 days. Weird how they start processing for my wife when I haven’t received my PR yet.

Hello everyone,

Today, I spoke with someone who had submitted their documents in October 2023 and had received their COPR. When I talked to them, they mentioned that their work permit had expired, but they did not extend it. They also said that those who extend their work permits experience a longer PR process.

I wanted to know if it’s true that if a work permit expires and is not extended, the process becomes ،not more complicated. Is there a solution for this? And is it correct that extending the work permit makes the PR process longer?

so people who want to work and pay taxes are getting their PR later than those who live off of taxpayers money and not contribute to the economy/ or work under the table without paying taxes? I dont think thats the case, and if it is then I’m not renewing my permit lol.

If you are a protected person and your dependants are in Nairobi ,the process fall under pilot project which means yours and your dependants file proccessed at the same time.My case is like that.
