2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

Here is my wife's timeline:
- application submitted Dec 25, 2023
- received the acknowledgment on March 6, 2024
- passed medical March 25, 2024
- pre arrival Feb 18 2025
- eligibility Feb 21 2025
- Ontario

Now my question is, I am her dependent, but I don't receive pre-arrival and eligibility; should I wait for it, or should I contact IRCC if the answer is yes, How?

If you have G No ( Application No ) you can contact IRCC and ask about your pre arrival & Eligibility .

Hi Friends,

I just moved to North Vancouver and need to take a digital photo for my PR card. Does anyone know a good place in North Vancouver for this? Also, since the photo is digital, does it include a date?

Another question: I haven’t received P1 yet and am still waiting for my security check to be completed. However, since my processing time has already passed, I’d like to have the photo ready so I can send it as soon as P1 arrives.

I’ve heard that places like London Drugs take photos from inside a car, and the results aren’t always great.

Since there's no clear timeline for when I’ll receive my P1 email, do you think it’s a good idea to take the photo in advance?

Reassessment has been granted and a new medical certificate with a validity of 12 months has been
issued in GCMS. Please pick-up this IME number again in order to update the medical validity on the
application. PIU PR List Sep 1 to Sep 30, 2024

Can someone explain it more clearly? What exactly does it mean? PIU PR LIST?

Better you wait for P1 as picture will be needed in P2 not in p1 so relax and security check can take up to 2 3 months if it is not been passed already. I am a December applicant too, and my security etc was passed in Dec 2024 but still no p1 nothing ..

Relax don't overthink it. Don't do anything just yet, wait for instructions then proceed. You never know if requirements change any minute. And yes London Drugs can take your picture and have them ready in same day. They take pictures inside the store with a white background and they know about the requirements when you tell them it is for PR. Good luck.

P1 is all about your height, eye color, etc, and P2 is all about your current address and photo and consent that you are in Canada. and providing truthful information ..
