So technically you’re still within the 11 month processing window. not much you can do.May 6. Completed everything needed on my end. I am just waiting
Immigration officers notes requested by access to information portal...What’s gcms notes?
True, they told me to just wait. However, they also told me that the processing times do not apply for those who completed P1 and P2So technically you’re still within the 11 month processing window. not much you can do.
Which is technically correct. Once you receive your eCOPR as an inland applicant you're considered landed and have access to all services. The ability to re-enter the country in a hurry isn't really their problem since you're an inland applicant. Having said this - the delays on this process are total b*llsh*t so I'm sympathetic. With the amount of money these overpaid bureaucrats have wasted they could have had a much better process. Not to mention that they raise the applicant fees every year so... Where exactly is that money going if the process gets MORE painful.True, they told me to just wait. However, they also told me that the processing times do not apply for those who completed P1 and P2
What do they mean by the processing time no longer applies after P1 and P2?Which is technically correct. Meaning when you have your signed eCOPR you're considered landed and they have fulfilled their obligations to the quoted average processing time. What do they mean by the processing time no longer applies after P1 and P2?
meaning there is no fixed timeline for that, they can take whatever time they need toWhat do they mean by the processing time no longer applies after P1 and P2?
IRCC timelines can be found at this link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.htmlHi All,
I am a Canadian citizen. Me and my partner want to get married here in Canada and apply for Spousal Sponsorship in land.
I know that we can apply for Open Work Permit after receiving AOR.
Based on the current immigration timeline, how long do you think it will take to get a work permit?
Thanks in advance.
