Did you mean you contact MP and it expedited your process?

No. That doesn’t happen. I never ended up needing help but they did explain to me what I would need to submit if I wanted assistance. MPs will only assist if your application has passed or is nearing the application processing time. May 2024 was 11 months.

So they explained to me process of requesting assistance.

- residency / visa elsewhere
- criminal record check from non-nato countries?
- unemployment gaps

Were you asked to resubmit documents?

Any of those things in my experience will prolong a reliability or background check

Im stuck with picture and address in review with IRCC for over 2month.. Called them and answer is always the same just wait and be patient.. There is no time frame for this e.t.c ...
