Hi my friends parents sent their passports to Delhi for PR stamping. It’s been more than 2 weeks since it reached Delhi India. No updates. How much time would it normally take for the stamping and passports to be returned?

I heard someone got mandatory second medical exam upon arrival in canada, they didn’t mention reasons or previous health issues, can someone explain what could be the reasons behind that or how often they ask for second medical exam?

Thanks for the reply.

Let me clarify myself here: Actually the income reassessment happened few days after filing the taxes in April 2023. The Income of reassessment was recieved on May 05/2023. The draw results came in October 2023. So my reassessment was way before the draw results.

Really tough to say how this will be addressed. It is pretty clear that you suddenly reassessed your personal income, likely as someone who is self-employed, because you got selected for PGP. IRCC isn’t stupid. A CPA should not have made this basic error. This is why people should be meeting LICO every year if they plan on applying for PGP but especially if in the PGP pool. This is especially important for people who are self-employed.

We notify IRCC that my Father is in Canada, and then we have to wait for the online landing portal email. My Dad’s arrived in Canada same date on his Passport request Nov 5, 2024

medical was passed in July, PCC was requested and submitted in Sept. and confirmation that they were reviewing the PCC was received on October 10th. Since then, it has been crickets.

application is being processed in Vancouver. No update for past 5 months..anybody in same situation??
