Medical was passed in Oct/24. Haven't heard anything since then; the portal says application's under review. Anyone else seen any progress?

Did your parents have military or government experience? If yes, maybe in security screening. You can call IRCC or order IRCC notes to see what happened?

Biometric and everything else passed already

application is being processed in Vancouver. No update for past 5 months..anybody in same situation??

Vancouver office is very slow. I saw some cases processed in this office waiting for long time.

This is fairly normal. Processing for PGP is not fast.

Does anyone know the duration for which the visa is stamped after receiving the PPR?

Usually a year from the medical.

My mother is landing this week (carrying her CoPR and a single-entry visa in her passport and other documents). Does she need to do a PRTD (50$ fee) before landing?
