There have been recent instances where individuals over 55 years old received their oath within two months of their AOR, so the process can be quite fast for some.
Thanks much, I won't share that at this stage with the individual (expectations management), but very good to know - and potentially good news.

Another question based on the Document Checklist:
"Colour photocopy of all pages in your passport or travel document during your 5 year eligibility period, including the biographical page......"

What pages should I scan? I know the Bio page for sure, but the what is the rest? The passport pages are not dated. There are 2 blank pages before I get to the TRV and another blank 4 pages to my second TRV. Do I copy all the pages or just the Visa pages?

On the online portal in the Physical Presence tab, I see at the top Your 5 year eligibility period. However, the period end date is the date I created the application online. Even after several days of slowly updating the application, the eligibility period does not change.

Does this date after the physical presence calculation? Shouldn't the 5yr date keep moving each time the application is updated and remain fixed at the point the application is submitted? The system gives us 60days to submit the application, will this eligibility date remain the same if I use 1.5 months to submit?

Is this normal? Should I delete this application and create a new one to have an up-to-date eligibility period, then complete and submit the application same day so all the dates line up?

All pages for Paper application.
Bio page for Online application.
Hello, may I ask where I can see this information that IRCC confirms "Bio page for Online application"?
I'm preparing citizenship online application, but unable to find this information on the Document checklist nor Guide (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-0002-application-canadian-citizenship-under-subsection-5-1-adults-18-years-older.html)

Most of my passport is in English, bio pages and stamp pages are in English... but a few pages are not in English or French. These non-E/F pages are general information for a passport holder.
I was wondering if I need translations and certifird true copies of these few pages not in E/F... so I'd like to get clear understanding.
Thank you in advance!

@deshu no need to ask the same thing twice in different threads...
If you don't want to start an online application and see for yourself, look for any step by step guide on YouTube on how to file one, these are easy to find, and you'll notice there's absolutely no section there where you're asked to upload any other page of your passport.

Start the online application process and it won't ask for all pages of passport. Documentation is available for paper one.

I was reading the portal incorrectly. Even though the initial application date/effective period date doesn't change. However, when you log in each day and update the physical presence the counter increases to account for each day after the eligibility period.

Just a heads up to anyone who have the same concerns I did.

Sorry my bad, Don't do the same post in twice any more. I will search Youtube step by step guide etc too. Sounds like an official, up to dated informations are hear and there, other than IRCC webpage.

They are saying you have to have consistent names. Who ever is listed as the parent/guardian on the application should be the one who signs the personal info section.

Hi everyone,

I have a question about the job title change. For your context, I submitted my application for citizenship a few months ago, and have already received the AOR. I'm now waiting to take the test in just a few days.

A bout a week ago, my company updated my job title to better reflect the nature of the work I am doing (my responsibilities remain the same and I am working in the same team within the same company), I was wondering whether this update needs to be reported to cic ?

If so, what's the recommended course of action?

Appreciate your time and advice.

Job role change is not the criteria for which you need to contact IRCC after application submission.

Hi Guys, is the process still the same? Or is it only for postal application? I am planning to apply online if possible. Is there any guide for online application? Sorry if it is a repeated question.
