For me aor august 15, eligibility moved to in progress two days ago. Anyone has any idea how long it will take to get completed. Vo is Vancouver and Sydney.

for me eligibility changed directly to completed last week and background check in process for over a month.
If everything is good I hope you will get your PR CARD in April max good luck .

yes CEC EE Inland, haven't had any updates since october 19th :/

I have called a bunch yeah, the agents keep telling things are normal and there is no way to predict when my FD/P1 will arrive ^^ . My PVO is Etobicoke so not sure about how quick they are. How about you any GU or anything?

Ohk yeah they said same to me when I called them and mine application is linked with my lawyer’s portal so no idea about updates

I have been waiting since then and expecting a P2 but there has been a dead silence. Everything on the tracker is showing Completed. so called IRCC and that is where they told me that security check is not completed, and its not even started yet. They couldnt tell me why everything on tracker is Completed. Also never got a FD. So have requested GCMS notes to see what is going on with my application. I know one other guy who received P1 and P2 and has been waiting for this security checks. IRCC works in weird ways.

Just call IRCC and confirm if they received your reply to P1 email or not, and tell them that you have not got your P2, they might ask you to re-send an email to them.

So in this waiting time do I need to inform IRCC about the baby birth and if yes, how can I inform them and what should be the content.?

Congratulations! Hope you and the child are healthy. Your child is a Canadian by birth. It shouldn't have any impact on your application. However, you could still inform them if you feel like it. Your call!
