@Miss bee
Hi Missbee, hope you're doing well.

I reached out to you a couple of days ago asking about IRCC webform since I renewed my passport after applying for PNP Non EE International student stream.

I got an email after saying the they received the form and will get back to me.

I just got this email from IRCC:
Good day,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided; however, we require further information in order to access the file.

In order to better assist you, we invite you to resubmit your request by including the following information in a letter of explanation and uploading it in the IRCC Web form:

  • Surname and complete given name (including middle name, if applicable) - exactly as they appear on the passport or identity document,
  • Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD),
  • Client ID Number, UCI or Application Number,
  • Country of birth,
  • Type of application,
  • Date on which the application was submitted or received,
  • Mailing method (courier, Canada Post (registered or regular mail), etc.),
    • company used,
    • confirmation no.,
  • Complete address (including the postal code and the unit number) where the application was sent,
  • Receipt number,
  • Current address,
  • Telephone number(s),
  • Email address, and
  • All documents submitted with your previous request.
And I'm not sure what they mean by "Mailing Method, company used and confirmation number" since I applied online. Also not sure what "Complete address where application was sent" since I did not receive anything on my mail. Receipt number do they mean the receipt I got after paying for the application back in Nov?

Also Idk why they're asking for all of that I already gave in all my info they would need last time

Thank you

It is correct. The processing time is now 20 months...so it's applicable to everyone irrespective of when you submitted the application.
Very sad and now we have to wait for an another year for a final decision. I think the non express entry applicants are least bothered by IRCC. Its really killing our patience and unable to concentrate on other things & affecting our metal health.

I did submit my application on Feb 28, 2023 AOR was April 4, 2023 Background check did start on November 28. 2023. Currently it has been 14 months since I'm on A34 SS . And my journey did start on March 1st 2022, when I was invited for provincial nominee to get that they need around 10 months. I'm I fighting with this PR for so long that I'm in stage that I don't care if they refuse or approve my PR application. I just want to finish this nightmare.
so sad story, I hope that you can get it soon!

Once you get AOR , fill background declaration form again with correct information and resend it through webform . No need to attach letter of explanation.
Perfect, so IRCC usually sends ADR I think for this ? Or can I raise webform now and correct it ?

@Miss bee

also my OINP is expiring on March 3rd and they are still processing mid- August. Incase they don’t get to my application can I ask for an extension ?
Thank you so much for your suppirt

They won't ask you. You should update them . Also if you applied PR application already, you don't need to renew your nomination. PNP won't reissue your nomination unless your application has been returned.

If your salary has increased, you don't need to inform PNP however, if your salary has been reduced, you have to .

Sounds good. Thank you for the help. So in this case I can raise a webform and mention the details I need to change ?

or do I have to fill up the 5669 form from paper based application (from here https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/imm5669.html) and send it to them now or wait for AOR ? As when I filled it online I didn’t have to download a form everything was online and filled forms automatically.@Miss bee

Alberta send me a mail that upload bank balance certificate in 5 days. They give me deadline by 19 jan 2025. And i saw that mail on 21 jan 2025. I requested them to give 2 more days to submit they will approve or decline? They said in mail that if i missed Deadline they will decline. But in real AAIP portal today(31 jan 2025) they didn't decline.
