The big issue with you file is that if your wife is a German citizen so you have a pathway to safe country. Why did she not just sponsor you?
bc i cant not go to germany from china and im in canada,i never been in germany so not a big issue i think

Hello! Can you please let me know how to transfer case from Alberta to Ontario? Do I need to send a letter or something?
You have to call the IRB and get a form (might be available online). However, it maybe okay to keep it at the Alberta/BC office. IT tends to be faster..

Thank you! Can I claim social assistance in Ontario if case is in Alberta? I mean I want to live in Toronto

Yes, you can get social assitance like Ontario works. However, you may need to change your lawyer regardless of where the case is based if your current lawyer doesn't accept Ontario legal aid. I recommend the this office 416-924-2227 for a lawyer or choose your own.

I got the hearing in January 2025. I recommend everyone to find a lawyer. I mean reliable. I was about to give up because I waited for 17 months, but after I found a lawyer, I found that a lot of information was wrong or missing. And they won't tell you but the lawyers can see
Hi me too, my lawyer saw errors in my boc without letting me know, can you introduce your lawyer to me. Am in Ontario

Got our hearing this morning and got positive decision on the spot. Was scheduled for 3 hours and ended up being a 40 minutes hearing. Questions were from the BOC and me and my partner were really straightforward and concise in our answers. Be truthful and stick to your BOC.

Submitted BOC: September 2022
Medical: October 2022
Security passed: Feb 2023
Eligibility interview: June 2023
Work Permit: June 2023

Wife came to Canada: Feb 2024
