Do the MP help in finding the the file process . As i hear they can only help us to let know about the status.

They won't help with any filing. From what I understand, they can advocate for you. For the previous refusal, I involved our local MP (her assistant) to investigate the matter. She booked an appointment with IRCC to review our file, and the IRCC agent agreed that the file might have been overlooked. They didn’t see any reason for the denial and suggested applying again. For this application, she had another appointment with IRCC to explain what happened with the previous refusals. She also provided my already booked ticket and my application number for attention. The good thing about involving an MP is that your file gets highlighted among the millions of others, so IRCC is more likely to pay attention. In my experience, this greatly helped us. Also, not all local MP offices s will do that either, so it all depends..

My mother also had visitor visa prior to this and visited for 5 months in 2023.
So I’m trying to understand if they use the background check and eligibility info from the previous application.
We wanted to apply for a super visa this time rather than a visa extension and got her passport renewed, which was expiring in 2026.
Her visitor visa is valid until 2027 but we were hoping she could visit on super visa this year..

I have applied on Dec 17 and not done upfront medical examination for my parents . After getting the biometrics, no update after that . One of my friend who filed on September got medical request yesterday. My due date is on May hope everything will get approved before the date
Applied super visa for both parents 24 December 2024 without upfront medical. at time of applying processing time was 137 days. Today got update medical required to process and in new tracker says eligibility completed. Is application approved if eligibility completed? please answer if some one has been in same situation.
