I called IRCC and they haven't received the prints yet (taken Dec 23). Agent told me best to submit a webform with the proof of submission so it's in the file. It can take around a month for them to receive the prints and so far it's been only 2 weeks.

IRCC have the proof now on file and the letter to submit gave me 60 days. So if no updates at the end of the month I will call again.
I called RCMP today who confirmed they posted the prints/report on Jan 3rd. My tracker still says "waiting on you for fingerprints" but at least I know they were posted to IRCC.

Going to give it another 7 working days (it's been 8 working days now) and will then call IRCC again to see if they have been received.

Good to know there isn't a hold up with RCMP though.

Can't believe I'm asking this...

Good news/bad news.

Today my Language and Physical presence were completed. Currently outstanding background check only. They requested prints which were sent from RCMP to IRCC on Jan 3rd.

This means I'd expect them to have my prints in the next week.

Let's say then background and oath are approved sometime in the next 2 weeks..

We have a non-refundable vacation booked for Feb 3-10th.

What on earth do I do if we get an oath ceremony just before or during vacation? Is personal travel a valid reason to request a new ceremony? We cannot afford to reschedule the vacation, and time off won't be approved by work another time.

I doubt they would schedule an oath in 2 weeks. Unfortunately. they work much slower than that. Mine, everything was completed on Nov 30th and the oath has not started yet....

Stupidly, this is reassuring. I've seen people go from everything complete to decision made in 2 days, then oath 2 weeks later.

We need 3.5 more weeks from today.

I hope you get yours soon!!

But what happens if they schedule is for a ceremony mid vacation - is that enough reason to request a reschedule?? How quickly do they even respond to web forms for rescheduling? Ooof.

I wish that would be the case with every application :D

Thank you!

I'm pretty sure you'll be ok but if they would schedule one, I think it's about rescheduling they respond faster but someone here with more knowledge about that could answer that to you.

Did anyone from Montreal get oath invitation?
Montreal is pretty slow. Mine is probably in March for oath ceremony. Finger crossed.
