Can someone let me know on this please

Processing takes 12 months according to the IRCC website. The fastest I’ve seen from another forum is around 4 months for an outland application.

I got spousal approval letter on dec 28 Nd eligibility approval letter on December 15. Does anyone know what is the next step or how long it's going to take to get PR approval?

For people that got their SOWP approved recently. Did ya'll have any updates prior to it getting approved? I had submitted by SOWP on Sept 8th and there has been no update after. Currently eligibility has not yet begun and background check is still in progress.

Yes, given you have the work permit itself (not the approval letter) along with a job letter stating that they intent to employ them as a permanent full time employee for Atleast 6 months

Our PR application is in progress and we have also applied for SOWP. Do we still have to apply for visitor record to be on the safe side?

Congrats! IRCC agent told me it can take up to 6 weeks to get it in the mail, but you are eligible to work as of Dec. 30th, and can apply for SIN and other services using the approval letter in GCKey as it contains your work permit # and expiry date.

Congrats! IRCC agent told me it can take up to 6 weeks to get it in the mail, but you are eligible to work as of Dec. 30th, and can apply for SIN and other services using the approval letter in GCKey as it contains your work permit # and expiry date.

My husband received the WC approval.letter last week but for the SIN, they reject the approval letter as the main identity document. Did we do something wrong, what did you provide ? Thanks

I just called and the letter was accepted only because of Canada Post strike. They have stopped accepting the letter since January 3. So we have to wait to receive the permit.

Oh that sucks :/ we are still waiting on our CSQ that was mailed on Nov. 15 that is lost in the Canada Post backlog. So it’s not like everything is back to normal yet. I called Canada Post yesterday and they told me they are only caught up with the parcels. There is still a lot of backlog with letters.

She is currently in Canada and her TRV which she got on Visitor will Expire in 2029.
We have a Travel plan to India in April, So my question is do we need to apply for TRV again as SOWP is approved? and if yes how long is it taking these days?

No need of new TRV she already have a valid TRV.she can travel without any issues.
