Ohhh really so that’s the AOR!! Thank you for confirming. Had been so stressed out.
so it’s dated for Dec 3rd , but received yesterday. Canada post strike which is understandable but makes no sense that we got it in mail and not email.
I did recheck all the documents I submitted, the sponsor email section has been filled out.

Got the sponsor eligibility letter again. Not sure why, but this one says to ignore the one sent on December 5th. Says the same thing pretty much. Kind of was hoping for a good update but we're not getting that big of a new year surprise I guess.

Have you applied as in-land applicant? In that case, how they can send you a Pre-arrival services Letter? I thought it was only for the people who are outside of Canada.

I applied in land and received Pre-arrival services Letter as well.

No they send it to people who are inland as well.. think it’s just generic

Yes, I applied as in-land. Not sure why they sent us one. Must be automated.

Hello I’m from Vancouver. I came here as a student and had work permit. I applied my PR under common law on September 20. My partner is a citizen. I got my physical copy of my extended work permit until 2026. I got biometric request on Dec 13, 2024. I gave my biometric too on Dec 18. What is the wait time after this ?

Our PR application is in progress and we have also applied for SOWP. Do we still have to apply for visitor record to be on the safe side?

April 15th: Received biometrics letter
April 16th : Eligibility completed
April 17th: Invitation to pre-arrival services
April 23rd : Medicals completed
May 3rd: Gave my biometrics

Oct 10th: Background verification completed
Oct 11th: When I opened my application status tracker at the top right corner, it showed that it had been updated on 11th Oct. However, there were no major updates, so I casually pressed DOCUMENTS STATUS, where I saw COPR details for the first time (like document number, expiry number, etc.)
Oct 16th: I received an email from IRCC asking me to reply with basic information like Name, Height, Eye Color, UCI, and original entry date....... I replied on the same day
Oct 17th: I received the same mail again asking me to reply with basic information like Name, Height, Eye Color, UCI, and original entry date.......
Is there any issue that I received the same email twice?
And what would be the next step?

hi, when did you reeived the AoR?

in my case, I applied on Oct 12, 2024. Got pre-arrival letter on Nov 18 but no Aor yet.
