Physical time together is more credible, yes, and esp living together. Whether this is feasible or makes sense in context of her work and you living in cities that are a ten hour+ drive apart, I don't know.
She works in Thunder Bay, and I am in Sudbury, which is a 10-hour drive. Is it possible to use the same address on our driver’s licenses, even though she will continue working in Thunder Bay while I visit her on weekends? Would that help?"

Seriously, don't complicate things by playing games with stuff like that, you're just going to make things worse. Just tell the truth. If you're visiting her and not the other way around, that's an even stupider idea (claiming that she's living with you). IRCC have an idea how far Sudbury is from Thunder Bay.

No, you're not living together if visiting on weekends. Just write a short note detailing the weekends you spent together.

Given the timing of her WP expiring, you not living in the same city, timing of divorce and returning to India to divorce but getting remarried in Canada almost right away without I assume any family, etc. this application has a high likelihood of being flagged. How did she come to Canada? Where is her current spouse? How much time have you spent together in person? Is this an arranged marriage?

She came to Canada in October 2020 on a study visa and currently has a work permit that expires in June 2025. She got married in February 2023, but her spouse, who is in India, does not want to live in Canada. He visited in November 2023 for a month but didn’t like it here. Additionally, her in-laws have made demands she cannot fulfill, which led to a mutual agreement to divorce. I met her in May 2024, and since then, we’ve been in love and have decided to get married once her divorce is finalized. As of December 2024, they will have been separated for one year, and both have agreed to finalize the divorce in February.

Our families are supportive of our marriage, and she and her parents will visit my home in February as well."

She completed one year of separation last month in November. They are mutually getting divorced, and the lawyer said they can waive the cooling-off period. She will get the divorce papers in February 2025, so we decided to get married in February or March.
You are good then! I was worried in case if you weren't at this stage and were planning your future ahead. The other comment pretty much shared everything you need. Best of luck to both of you!

How much time have you spent together in person? How many in person visits for example while you are dating? Does she have other pathways to PR? IRCC will be looking carefully at student whose PGWPs are expiring and have no pathway to PR who suddenly get married.

I’ve known her since May 2024 and have visited her many times. We’ve spent a lot of time together on outings. She works in HR and is eligible for the CEC program, but she is on a 482 permit. I’m not sure if there will be a draw before June 2025, which is why I’m considering marrying her so I can sponsor her
