October 2024 Outland Spousal Sponsorship Timeline

Sponsor received AOR: 26 November, 2024

PA received email to Submit a new IMM 5669
Sent it back 27 November, 2024. Sponsor received an email on 2 December, 2024 with only a PDF stating we were receiving a refund of $570, but it didn’t state for what and why. It shows in our application tracker that our application is still in progress, and on 4 December, 2024 a refund has been initiated.

Does it take awhile to receive a rejection or refusal email? Someone please help. My common law partner is a citizen in Canada but is on a work visa in the US and has to leave by August of 2025. So knowing if it’s been refused or rejected soon is a must, and I can’t get IRCC web form to give me a straight answer as to what’s going on.

What you can do is to get an online APP Canadian phone number so that you can call outside of Canada.
