Okay thanks I checked! It still says “police verification initiated” even though the officer had already sent in the clear report. What to do?? How long does it usually take??

For me it changed the very next day as "Approved and Submitted as Clear by Police "
The same police station where it was sent for verification. You can ask them that it is still showing in process.
The officer told my parents that he sent in clear report specifically and that if we check it should show as clear. Is there a chance it’s a passport seva delay?
Yes. So, it as soon as passport seva will receive clear PV report, they will approve it on website and they will print it afterwards.

I received my PCC today.

PCC Received: 27 November, 2024
I've sent a mail to CGI this week. Got a standard reply from 'Sanjiv Kumar' saying it'll take 6-8 weeks and will be issued next week. Also send the invitation letter. I did send a reply back, but so far no reply.
Current status is 'PCC is clear. Ready for issue'.

just go to bls center and take premium service they will fill all documents and apply pcc don’t waste time on purolator they will take 3 or 4 days extra
If you have an urgent situation, you can opt for the Premium Lounge. Otherwise, you can book Purolator service. The application process will take four days, including the pickup date of your courier, and your application will arrive the next day. The process is quick and easy, especially if you don't have time to visit the BLS office. Purolator offers fast service, so booking with them is a great option. I'll share the link to make it easier for you.
