URGENT!! - Anyone else face this?
My status on passport seva shows “Police Verification has been initiated and a request has been sent to Indian Embassy/Consulate. PCC needs to be collected from the Indian Embassy/Consulate where the applicant applied after a 'Clear' Police Verification Report is received at the Indian Embassy/Consulate”
- it’s been two weeks since the verification was completed. My parents called the local police station about this and they said they have sent in request to Commissioner office and that it will take a few more days for them to clear it. Has anyone else faced this? What can I do to hurry this up?

Hi Folks.... I applied for PCC at BLS Mississauga center, took appointment and due to issues with the filled form, refilled a new form there at the center and submitted it. Submitted the form on Nov 22, 2024 and the latest status (12 days later) only shows "Status
CC application is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate." It has been same status since Nov 26.
I dont know if there are any issues with the application and why the status is not changing.... i was hoping that by now the police station in India should have received request or atleast the application status should have changed to something else and not be stuck at the same.
Any suggestions what can I do?

Does anyone think that the Canada Post strike will affect Purolator and their ability to deliver our PCCs?
Read somewhere that CP folks are now protesting in front of Puralator HQ making it difficult for purolator staff to work.

I received an EE invitation on November 12th but applied for the PCC (I know it’s late) on November 19th. This past week, my PCC status changed to "Initialized Police Verification."
The police station hasn’t received it yet, but I did receive an email from the passport office. BLS customer care informed me that it is pending with the passport office.
Is there any way to follow up or expedite this process? If I don’t receive the PCC by my deadline, is there any alternative way to submit my file or handle the situation?

I’m not applying through EE, I’m applying through spousal sponsorship and we need to make sure that we send the application in by next year. I don’t have any letter from IRCC with deadline since it’s not EE application.
What can I do to tell CGI that it is urgent and that I need it printed ASAP? I’m thinking of going to the physical location to get it printed but I know they ask for the letter from IRCC. Please guide me.
