Received PR card today! Thanks a lot to this fantastic group! Here is the timeline:

Once you receive the Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) and pay the biometric fee, it can typically take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to issue the Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL).
Since you mentioned it has been over three weeks, you may want to try the following:
1. Check Your Online Account: Sometimes notifications are only available in your online account, so it’s a good idea to check there regularly.
2. Follow Up with IRCC: If you’ve already called once, it might be worth reaching out again or sending a message through your online account to check on the status of your BIL.
3. Verify Contact Information: Ensure that the contact information in your application is up-to-date, in case IRCC is trying to reach you by email or mail.
Here are some simple steps I have gathered from a couple of threads and trying to bring it on one thread.
Linking PR Card application;
1. Login into your CIC account as you usually do.
2. Reach the page where you click "Check full application status" to view your application and messages
3. But do not click on that rather click on " Add (link) your application to your account"
4. Select the "Category" from the dropdown as "Permanent Resident Card"
5. Under Application Details, from "Please select one" select "Unique Client Identifier (UCI) and Family Name"
6. Put your UCI as it is NO SPACES and NO HYPHES
7. Put your Family Name as on you CoPR - UPPER and LOWER CASE matter here
8. The tricky one, Place of Birth Section. Here "City/town of birth" is very very crucial. Copy it as it is on your CoPR, any commas, upper/lower case, spaces, just copy it here.
9. Select your "Country/territory of birth" from the drop down
10. Next section is pretty easy as you just select your "Date you became a permanent resident" from dropdown. This is the day you did your landing by either flagpole or landing interview
11. Put "Country of Citizenship" and "Current marital status" from dropdowns.
12. Click "Search for my application", if all the inputs are correct then it will show you that the system has found your application. You just have to click Link my application to account and it will now be shown on "View the applications you submitted" page with your Permanent Residency application.
13. If after clicking "Search for my application" it show no application found, click Try again and try to input all the values carefully again. Each day it allows you 5 attempts. It it still doesn't find your application, you can try again the next day.
For a Non-Express Entry PNP application, it’s not uncommon to wait several weeks (or even months) after receiving the Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) before receiving the medical instruction letter. However, here’s what you can consider:Hi @Miss bee
I applied for Non-Express ENtry PNP, and received AOR 2 weeks ago. But have not yet received any medical test instruction letter. Should I file a webform? or can I take the medical test before getting the medical instruction letter? If so, Can I send the results via webform?

1. Wait for the Medical Instruction Letter
• IRCC usually prefers that applicants wait to receive the medical instruction letter before completing a medical exam. The letter includes a unique IME (Immigration Medical Exam) number that links your exam results directly to your application, ensuring they are properly filed and processed.
• It’s generally best to wait, as completing the medical exam early without the IME number could lead to complications or delays.
2. Taking the Medical Exam Early
• Although it’s possible to complete an Upfront Medical Exam (an exam done without IRCC’s request) in certain cases, this is more common with Express Entry applications. For non-Express Entry PNP applicants, it’s typically recommended to wait until IRCC requests it.
• If you still choose to complete an upfront medical exam, you can submit the results to IRCC through a web form, but there’s no guarantee that they will accept or process it without the instruction letter.
Also there is temporary public policy to waive medical exam for your present PR application if you ever did medical exam in past for any Visa application, it will be still considered valid .

Hi @Miss bee, i hope you are doing well. In order to notify for a job change due to layoff, should i wait until lay off which will be in 3 months and then notify pnp office or do i have to do it now? Will that be misrepresentation as i hope i will get AOR by then. Also can i use the same Letter of employment that i used to apply for pnp to IRCC?
Generally, it’s best to inform the PNP office as soon as you have formal notification of the layoff, even if it’s in the future. Most PNP programs expect you to maintain your qualifying employment status until your permanent residence is finalized. However, if your layoff is certain and you already have documentation of the end date, informing them in advance may prevent issues down the line.
• Possible Impact on Your Application: Some PNPs are flexible if the layoff is outside your control, especially if you’re actively seeking similar employment to meet the program’s requirements. Being upfront with the PNP office can help establish your intention to comply with their requirements, and they may guide you on any needed next steps
2. Potential Misrepresentation
• Misrepresentation generally involves intentionally withholding information or providing false details, so if you inform the PNP office as soon as you have certainty about the job change, this is typically viewed as complying with your obligations.
• As for receiving an AOR (Acknowledgment of Receipt) from IRCC, this document acknowledges receipt of your application, but it doesn’t mean the employment criteria are locked in. Until your PR is finalized, the PNP may still want updates on your employment status.

I got a job offer and a support letter stating that my duties will remain the same however it states broader duties which is under another NOC but in TEER 3. What would you suggest the best way to handle this if you dont mind
