Hi.
I need to explain my Story to understand the scenario. I have Canadian visitor visa for 10 years which i got in Oct 2023 along with US visit visa i got on Nov 2023. I visited both countries in Feb 2024 and returned to my home country. After returning i applied visitor visa for my family (wife+ 03 kids under 13) to visit Canada in summer vacations of kids school. but it was rejeted within 10 days of application and when i received ATIP notes it didn't clearly mention the reason and repeated same reason as that of refusal letter. However refusal letter mentioned 02 reasons.
1. The information i provided was not consistent with the temporary stay (very common reason)
2. not have stron ties outside Canada.

My Wife is house wife who was the main applicant so i attached my documents being sole sponsor of my family and attached my Bank statement and all property documents along with income tax returns but it got rejected.

Now i want to apply on behalf of my wife again after 07 months so how should i improve my application and address the reason of rejection in new application.

Applying to Visit Canada during 23rd Dec 2024 to 03rd Jan 2025. (Toronto and Vancouver)

My wife and Kids Applying again with the following additional documents to improve the case.
1. Property documents of Wife along with Valuation Certificate worth CAD 40,000.
2. Leave Application and Registration Certificate for Kids Schooling.
3. Pictires of Wife and Kids with Friends, Families and participation in school events to prove the Family and Social Ties.
4. Mentioning that my Mother (Elderly 70 years Old) and my Unmarried Sister is living with me and I need to take good care for them and for that reason I will need to return back.
5. My Job with commitment to return for the sake of managing Annual Maintenance of Machines in January 2025 Since I am working as Senior Manager.
6. Marriage Ceremony of My sister in March 2025 for which date is not finalized due to booking of marriage Halls not done yet.
Also How should I address previous refusal in proper way as last time visa was refused within 10 working days. May be it didn't gone through VO and refused by Chinook itself.

Please Guide me in detail so that I could make good application.

Your story and travel history has no impact on your doesn’t spouse’s and children’s applications. Just because you went to Canada and US doesn’t help their profiles. Did you order GCMS notes.

1. Okay. How long has the property been in her name? Is it income property? How is property a tie to return?
2. Okay
3. Ties for spouse to return are spouse and children. Pictures of friends and family are not ties.
4. Your mother and sister are not ties for her to return.
5. Your job is not her job nor a tie for her.
6. This is your sister so what is the tie to return for your wife? Were you travelling before March?

I don’t see any ties for your spouse to return if children are also applying.

Thanks for Reply.

1. From last 1 Year. Not income generating and we are living in it.
3. Visit Plan in vacations, Leaves and registration certificate from school. involvement in different extra Curricular activities in School.
4. My Wife is responsible for taking care of them in all ways.
5. My Job is my return Ties, What is a point of Leaving Kids and Wife in Canada and me having strong Ties to come bak. Obviously they will also come along with me. In our Eastern Culture, we respect relations and Value them most. My Wife has always been a house wife. How She is gonna prove her Ties. My Ties here should be considered her Ties since we are all Travelling Together.
Furthermore, Canadian Visa Application system is designed in such a way that it Caters this situation in which me and my Family going through.
The system has asked a question"if any person is traveling with you who has been permitted to come to Canada" Obviously it is me who have been granted visa and I am travelling along with her.
The System is also asking to submit documents for " Proof of means of Financial resource of Supporter"
again it is me who has to submit Finaicial Stability of mine along with all properties, Tax Returns etc because the system knows that the applicant is not a working women or has no means of supporting herself.
6. Again, here the Culture needs to understand and may be it need to explain VO in details, My sister and mother are my Ties. OK. but at home My Wife is responsible for their all types of necessities. i am responsible only to give financial and moral support. Wives of our all brothers are responsible to manage their un married sister in Laws till they get married and manage different responsibilities assigned to them.
I hope I may have been able to clear up some means of Ties.
I am Wholy soly Supporter of my family in all aspects.

So why did you apply without your family in the first place and visited Canada? You may have been approved because you showed family ties to return.

Their applications are now assessed based on their ties to return, not yours. Your funds are included but if not joint account, IRCC doesn’t have to consider them.

IRCC is cutting back on TRVs so they need absolute ties to return and funds. This has nothing to do with your culture but IRCC guidelines. Their country of residence is also factored in.

If you want just your wife to visit Canada, then she should apply without the children. Those are her ties to return.

It seems that I am sitting in front of Visa Officer who has a target for max rejection of visa. I think I should apply for US visa first. If granted then there will be no question of Ties under Can+. Is this way Canadian visa system Sucks.

This is really ridiculous to be honest. They shouldn't be reject family members who want to visit to spend time with their family.

I'm going through something similar to bring my brother for a quick visit just to actually meet my child and husband. The rest of my family live in different countries. We have no criminal history and he has a well paying job that he worked forever. They may even lied on the GCMS notes saying he never sent more info to the office which he did. First rejection said they were concerned with finances, second rejection said they were concerned with not leaving, third rejection they went back to concerned with finances.

I have coworker friends who grew up in same city and they all get their siblings and entire family here first try.

It's unfair.

Ain’t how it works

Since you are making strong accusations that the government lied then he should be hiring an immigration lawyer to file for judicial review. If he is single, it is very difficult to get a visa. Not sure what you not having a criminal history has to do with him.

TRVs are a privilege, not a right. Not everyone is approved.

What does you having a US visa have to do with spouse and children? Your immigration history and travel have nothing to do with your spouse and children.

i had
I had a Canadian tourist visa valid until August 2025 and on the day of departure in September 2024 and 10 minutes before the flight it was cancelled without notice.
IRCC does what it seems to do without caring about the human side
a Canadian visa
Try the us visa

A visa to visit, yes. I'm not talking about other visas or even pr because that I can understand the more thorough process. But to just visit your family for a short term doesn't make sense. They believe they will not return to their home country which is just a personal opinion (especially when all documents are provided) and it shouldn't be that way. It's not humane.

The issue is the number of people claiming asylum on a TRV. Numbers don’t lie.

How is not providing a visa inhumane? Does it prevent you from earning a living or expose you to immediate harm? I doubt it....it's just a "vacation". No harm, no foul. There's always Disney in HK.

Your brother has minimal savings and your mother also got a visa and as you stated most of your family lives in different countries. These all point to valid concerns that your brother may attempt to remain in Canada perhaps to find employment.
