Hi! I applied non-ee pnp on June 21th, and still waiting for AOR. I heard the officer opened my application and process by calling IRCC 2 weeks ago. Is it a just waiting game? It’s been 2 weeks since they opened my app. Or should i worried about the processing? Thanks for your help.

@Miss bee
I saw a post about a non-routine application being transferred to Winnipeg. Winnipeg is my primary office and I was asked to submit scans of my diplomas months ago. I'm a bit unsure about the progress as GCMS notes show no recent updates. Which number can I call IRCC to ask for updates?

Thank you for your time!

You can contact IRCC’s Client Support Centre at:

Within Canada: 1-888-242-2100

Hours of operation: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (local time), excluding statutory holidays.

Since you mentioned that you submitted scans of your diplomas and that there haven’t been updates in GCMS notes, it may be helpful to reference those details during your call. Having your application number and UCI (Unique Client Identifier) ready will make it easier for the agent to locate your file and provide insights.
If you’re calling from outside Canada, use the IRCC web form, as the toll-free number isn’t accessible internationally. You can also consider ordering a fresh set of GCMS notes if you’re still seeing no updates after contacting them.

Waiting for an Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) can be stressful, especially after hearing that your application has been opened. The fact that an officer has reviewed your application is a good sign, as it means your file is actively being processed.

In many cases, after the initial review, IRCC may require a few more weeks to complete additional checks before issuing the AOR, so this is often just a waiting game. Delays in receiving the AOR aren’t unusual, especially with non-Express Entry Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) applications, which can take a bit longer due to their processing complexity.

If you’re concerned, you could contact IRCC again to ask about your application status, or you might consider ordering GCMS notes for a deeper look. However, since it has only been a couple of weeks, waiting a little longer is likely the best approach.

Winnipeg is the worst visa office in Canada, every file is non-routine, no one is working.

Hi there,
I got nomination in Feb 2024 oinp international student employer job offer stream.
Applied non express entry in march 22nd 2024. During that time I was pregnant but still working. In personal history I mentioned i am still working with the current company.

I went for maternity in May and I got AOR in July ,2024 along with ADR for personal history update. I updated like I am still a worker in my current company. I didn’t mention I was on maternity leave. Does this will impact my application?
But I informed IRCC about my baby is born and uploaded the birth certificate as well. But I was not sure that I should mention about the maternity leave. Does this leads to misrepresentation of my application?

Can someone guide me in this situation? @Miss bee
We have same case and we mentioned that She is on maternity leave. Hence we didn't received our AOR since it is just 2.5 month we applied.

But I would suggest before they ask any think let them know that you are on maternity leave. You will start again once you done with your maternity leave.

I would also suggest to tag Miss bee and ask regarding this.

Hi @Miss bee

I applied for Non-Express ENtry PNP, and received AOR 2 weeks ago. But have not yet received any medical test instruction letter. Should I file a webform? or can I take the medical test before getting the medical instruction letter? If so, Can I send the results via webform?

Appreciate your help :)
