BC PNP status changed from Applied to In Process

Hey fellow applicants, I hope the processing timelines didn't change to 7 months from the original 3 months,....fingerscrossed no, otherwise, we would have to wait till next year...and work permit gets affected if its expiring while there are no results yet...

BC PNP Tech requested a copy of my university degree on November 6th, just a few hours after my application status changed to "in process." I uploaded it immediately, but I haven’t received any updates or emails since then.

yes once they opened your application, they will change the status to In Process...and we have to wait more months after that....

unfortunately because of immigration reductions of TFW's in Canada, even us are affected. this is frustrating....

they are in the documentation completion before they are put in line for assessment and approval...I don't know seems like there is only one approver in BC PNP, while they received thousands of applications every day..

There is no chance of getting the 600 points this year. Check the numbers for the Provincial Nominations backlog; the number of people with more than 600 points has been decreasing steadily. That only shows that every province does not have more spots available.
Also, the last BCPNP draws are only happening so BC does not need to say that it is over.

Oh my, then that's sad...hoping it will go back to normal and when is that we don't know...

Based on my experience with the immigration system, it's impossible to predict when we will receive a nomination. It could happen next week, next month, or even next year. I believe the timing isn't influenced by quotas, rules, or similar factors - it's entirely random. Just relax and wait.

LOL. am ok to wait actually but not until before the work permit expires..otherwise I have to renew it since it's easy for me to renew as I am an LMIA exempt, we'll see later on..and good luck everyone..
