Contact IRCC for Clarification: Raise a web form inquiry with IRCC explaining that you already submitted an upfront medical exam for both your PR and WP applications. Mention the date and provide any proof, such as receipts or the IME (Immigration Medical Examination) number if available. Request clarification on whether they truly need another medical exam or if it was issued in error.
2. Consider Completing the New Medical Exam: If IRCC confirms that they require a new medical exam, then you’ll need to undergo it again. Sometimes IRCC requests updated medicals to ensure all records are current and valid during final processing stages, even if you’ve done an upfront exam recently.
