Usually, whenever the case analyst gives a recommended pass, they also initiate background check. Almost there! All the best!

i would suggest to give IRCC a call. Everyone else including me who have similiar timelines as yours have received BIL.

I did give a call. Agent said he can’t give a timeline for the biometrics. PVO is Sydney SVO is Ottawa

today I called ircc to know my background check status

Criminality : passed
Info sharing : in progress
Security : not started

The status of background check is same since starting.

today I received ghost update in gc key, nothing is updated yet. I think it could be Background check updates.

just called about 2 mins ago, I waited on the line for almost 30 mins.

Nothing new on my file, still both in progress, the agent didn’t want to share more even I asked details for multiple times, kinda disappointed…
