Is it normal to receive the Biometrics request and don’t receive request for medical after 2.5 weeks? I read some posts and its usually within timeframe of week or so.

I got my medical request Aug 28 and I’m still waiting on biometrics request, so I guess it doesn’t always come together.

I heard medical request takes about 3 to 4 months.did biometrics in sept still waiting for medical request

My permit was expiring on oct 2 and i applied on sept3 a month before so its extension ryt??

I had to apply for sowp it took around 45-50 days. I applied for sowp on sept 3 and i got the approval on oct 24.

Any update for anyone in November? This country’s system is stupid. They brought in millions of low skilled visitors who claimed for asylum and getting paid, health care and work permits within weeks, however the spouses of us the tax paying citizens/PRs, have to wait indefinitely to get health card or work permits. Not to mention PR is more than a year of wait. What a messed up system. All these are happening with our tax money

No update yet. We have a similar timeline and applied on July 11th. I've just checked this morning and dumbfounded to see that it takes 166 days to get an initial work permit. That’s from 140 from a week or 2 ago. I feel defeated too.

Nothing yet, it is getting annoying. For me just AOR and BIL. No further updates. I am so suprised to see outland applications processed within few months. Inland is getting dragged. Being from India, it further raises concerns with the latest ongoing issues.

excatly. I do not understand the logic. If there is any, something must be explained on the site for the higher processing time.

I hear you! Even the June applicants are waiting. Not sure whatever the F they are doing and why it would take so long

I applied at the end of july, got Aor in August and biometrics done in October. There was a ghost update on my profile on Nov 01. No updates after that. No idea what's going on.
