Why would I want to reapply when I have already waited this long? Plus reapplying is just gonna put me back at the bottom of pool.

Because your case is not normal? People who applied before and after you have gotten a decision. Regardless, its up to you

Yup I'm sure its not but compared to others I have even raised around 6 webforms so it might take some time. Anyways thanks for the suggestion

I mean not to sound like an ass but how come someone who has applied way after me is receiving their visa and I who have applied way long back is not getting a decision? I’m just not understanding at this point like what even is going on with IRCC?

Not at all, filled up 3 webforms in past 1.5 months, got the same reply in 2 of them(chat gpt implies that background check ongoing). Also approached an MP for help they have also made an inquiry on my behalf to IRCC. How about you? What does your application status tracker and GC account shows?

Depends on where you live, have lived, citizenship, and program. Most likely people in public DLIs are being processed before private DLIs. Private DLIs are notorious for no admission requirements and only international students go there. IRCC is cracking down on those approvals.

There is no MP in India. MPs represent their constituents in the area your live in Canada.
