Congratulations! I want to ask you a question if you don’t mind. You said that you and your family member in Canada applied for pr together and get eCORP at the same time. I have my partner in Canada who is not refugee but we’ve applied together for pr. We both received pre arrival letters, passed eligibility, criminal, medical.Dear Forum,
I am a protected person in Canada. My spouse, my daughter, and I are currently in Canada, but my son, who is under 21 years old, is still in our home country. We applied for permanent residency together as a family, and recently, the three of us in Canada received our eCOPR from IRCC. We also received a pre-arrival letter for my son, and IRCC has informed us that the next steps in his application will be processed through the Canadian embassy in our home country.
My question is: regarding my son’s application, do we need to take any further steps, or will the embassy contact us? Also, could anyone share their experiences with similar cases, especially regarding how long the processing might take?
I would appreciate any insights. Thank you!
