Need Guidance regarding PR - Express Entry and ONIP - Please help!!!

Hi Everyone,

Thanks in advance , Here is my current situation : I have 4 months left in my work permit and my current CRS Score is 495. I have been waiting for STEM draw from few months but there are no STEM draw after april 2024,


I am software consultant(Business system analyst) who live in Mississauga, ON and my office is in Montreal, QC in short i work from home. I have completed 1 year study and 1 year Canada work experiance.

Still not able to see any Hope for PR!!

I want to ask following question:
i) when will be next STEM draw with Minimum score prediction?

ii) As i am living and working in ONTARIO , Am i eligible for ONIP ?? (My company is in Montreal right now) - I do work from home


iii) My past company was in ONTARIO and i have 6 Months experiance from Ontario employer is it possible to put file in ONIP HCP ?

1. Don’t count on a STEM draw as CEC draws are getting enough STEM applicants.
2. Do you mean OINP- HCP? Check past draws and whether your NOC and CRS score are selected.

Does it mean there will be no STEM Draw?

Yes ONIP_HCP , My NOC code is 21221 , But i have not created ONIP profile, Am i eligible for ONIP as per new rule if i have 6 months experiance with Ontario employer ?

Not saying there will not be a tech draw. Just saying that there is not need to have a STEM only draw because IRCC is meeting quotas for STEM just through CEC draws. HCP is an EE stream so don’t need to create EOI. If eligible with a job offer then look at non EE OINP streams. Your employer must be willing to fill out employer forms and support your nomination, you must be eligible and your OINP score and NOC must be selected.
