our got rejected. I am planning to apply again. Did your spousal had a job in home country? and how did you mentioned the visit in the purpose letter? thank you.
First order the gcms notes on the TRV application. See what is the refusal note left by the officer.

They gave those reasons:

  • You have significant family ties in Canada.
  • You do not have significant family ties outside Canada.
  • The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.

Will any of these 3 things change if you apply again? No....the result will be the same.
I wont recommend that you apply again - cuz contrary to what many think - yes it may hurt spousal application and they may put your application through extra scrutiny.
Applying TRV again and again after refusal, is taken as a sign that the applicant is desperate to enter Canada. This raises flag and then it impacts speed of the Spousal application.
