Hello All,
Can somebody tell me how to apply for medical extension for my father’s medical. We are waiting for a report. He is in India. Its going to take some time before we get the report. If I need to send a mail to IRCC, Can somebody also send me a format of the letter that I need to send l. It will very helpful thanks.

The medical report will go directly to IRCC, and you can call the Ircc to check if they received the medical report.
If you need an extension then you can send an email to them there is no format you can simply write the email and request them to extend a few more days as the medical report is delayed from where your parents have done medical.
You can also call and ask the clinic from where your parent's medical has been done if they have sent the report or not.

I received same letter today asking for the receipt. Maybe because the rates has changed in April 2024. I submitted the application with the receipt in 2023 based on old rates. Not sure if that the reason !!
However, I emailed them the receipt I have and asked them if need to repay the difference.
Also in the email they sent, they asked for the receipt to be emailed. However, in the letter they attached, it is mentioned to attach the receipt to MyCIC account. I checked my CIC account but didn't find they requested that receipt. Do you think the email we sent is sufficient ?

I need some info - I am awaiting for the medical request and biometrics for my mom. She lives in India, but we want to bring her to US and CA for Christmas.
Do you know if the medicals have to be done in India or can they be done while she is travelling?
