Hi,
During citizenship test i have used my PR card, but PR card doesn't have signature. in the invitation letter they have mentioned to use either PR card or some other government issued photo id. i have tried to use Drivers license but it was reflecting light a lot and ended up using PR Card. Just wondering are they gonna reject my test results and btw i have scored 19.
Is this your second PR card? My renewed PR card doesn't have my sign either. Thats why I used my DL as well. Was a pain to get its picture, but I managed somehow. But its probably normal for renewed PR cards to not have signatures

If they not satisfied with it, they will ask for a copy of other ID over email. Results won't be rejected for it.

Also, I noticed that our application is being processed at the Niagara Falls office from the test email, even though we live in the Ottawa area.
Same! I was surprised to see Niagara Falls as well. We're in Trent Hills and Scarborough is much closer. Do they only do online citizenship ceremonies? It asked if I wanted an in person one and I said yes. Does that mean we have to go all the way to Niagara Falls for it??

PR Card is an accepted form of ID for the test even though it doesn't have a signature. All other IDs needs to have a signature, so you are good.

I received the fingerprint request can you please suggest any good place where they update the same day or fast in Montreal?

Any other sources for preparation of test other than guide.

Thanks
Asad

You can use this link to find the nearest one, All of them send to RCMP immediately, electronically and after processing RCMP sends it to IRCC. So all have the same speed irrespective of where you do.

Type: Online application
Location: Calgary
Physical Presence Days: 1408
Application: couple
Application Sent: July 11th
Delivered: July 11th
AOR: July 22nd
GU1: September 12th
Test Invite: September 26th (not yet on tracker)
Test Window: Sep30 to Oct 30

I wrote my exam yesterday night and got email today the results are invalidated. due to reasons
computer compatibility issues, WIFI or connection failures, camera problems, other applications open during the exam or you were not visible at all times in front of your webcam while completing the test.

Questions: what happens next - any idea or can someone share their experience if they got this email?
How long it will take to receive the next invite.

Any responses will help!

Is your location Calgary or Vancouver?
For the test, did you have any connection issue during the test or were you not visible all through the test? What device did you use to do the test?

You can use the same link to attempt the test again, preferably use a different device and make sure it is an accepted device and browser as mentioned in the test portal and test invite PDF.

its Calgary!

I was visible but my USB-C docking station device was connected to an external desktop which was turned off but I had the citizenship test on my laptop opened. During the test there was a prompt on my first question then I removed it my USB-C docking station and completed the test with results 17 out of 20.

In today's email they mentioned - I cant proceed with additional attempts. Please see below :
As we have invalidated your attempt in our portal, you will no longer have access to the online test for your additional test attempts. IRCC will provide you with a new test invitation that will explain next steps for completing your remaining attempts at the citizenship test.

Not sure how much time it will take for next steps.

Any folks here who struggled for weeks to create their account for the tracker?
As this group is more advanced in their processes & applications, I'd like to check y'alls experience if someone had a similar issue with the tracker earlier in their application.

I'm a September applicant, almost a month after AOR. While there are other threads about tracker problems, I'd rather hear from folks who have gone through the process.
