Can you go for dropbox for H4 if your previous visa was H1B? Previous H1 was also issued in Vancouver via dropbox last year. Have PR ofcourse that would make us eligible. Also the CEAC website says dropbox eligible. Just trying to figure out if they'll call for an interview in case of a change of visa type.

I am showing this in the status anything to Worry about ???

"The consular officer has approved your application subject to final processing by the consular section that is necessary to issue your visa. When that processing is complete, the status will change to "Issued". However, a final screening step must still be completed prior to issuance that could lead a consular officer to conclude that you are not eligible for a visa. If that occurs, the consular officer will notify you that your application has been denied and your status will change to "Refused".
For more information, please visit U.S. Consulate General Vancouver.""

Got this email today !!

Dear Visa Applicant,

U.S. Embassies and Consulates are operating at reduced capacity and currently have only limited resources available to process visa applications; therefore, the time required to process a visa application and print an approved U.S. visa is taking longer than normal. Depending on the visa that you are applying for, it may take several weeks (up to 10 weeks in the case of B1/B2 BCC Border Crossing Cards) to process your visa.

After submitting your visa renewal documents or attending a visa interview appointment, you can track the status of your visa application at: https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC.

Your visa documents will not be turned over from the consular section to the courier for delivery UNTIL the status of your visa application appears as "Issued". You should receive an email notification with instructions on how to claim your documents within the next 15 working days after the status has changed from “APPROVED” to “ISSUED”.

The time that it takes to process a visa application is at the sole discretion of the Consular Section considering that they are operating at reduced capacity; therefore, we cannot provide an estimate on when your visa application will be processed and ready for pick up. Rest assured that the Consular Section is processing your visa application as quickly as possible and you will receive an email notification as soon as you need to take action on the next steps.

Sincerely,

The Contact Desk Support Team.
