AOR does not come right after applying, it takes them around 4 months to send you an AOR.
Not sure when you applied but keep that in mind.
I was applied on May 17th, but mistakenly I didn’t paid biometric, I thought previously given biometrics was enough. Now after 4 months they send an email to pay the biometrics and I paid. Not sure how long its gonna take for AOR and BIL.

Hello @Miss bee, I hope you are doing well!

I have a question I would appreciate if you could help me with. So my representative got the Portal 1 email and I responded from my own email 7 days ago. I didn't get any confirmation of receipt of the response I sent with the details that IRCC requested. I just wanted to confirm if that's normal? I'm a bit worried they haven't received my information

Yes you don’t get any confirmation email. Portal 2 email takes around 4-7 weeks these days . Just wait few more weeks and you get it .

Is applying gcms notes helpful?

Like if it shows that file is under this process. But we can not change anything or nor it will faster the process. So what is the use of gcms notes?
My file status changed on 1 August that: we are reviewing the additional documents you have provided.
If the notes also shows the same thing then what is the use of it?

Thanks
What are GCMS notes?
GCMS stands for Global Case Management System, which keeps track of immigration applications on behalf of the applicants. The Global Case Management System is accessible to temporary residence applicants, such as visitor visas, study permits, and work permit programs, and permanent residency, including express entry, family sponsorship, and provincial nomination program.

The system contains in-depth information on each applicant file, including documents received from the applicants, correspondence from IRCC, reviews from each officer, and more. The GCMS notes CIC is the only way applicants can get accurate and relevant information about their application status on the IRCC system. The GCMS notes Canada is issued under the guidance of the Access to Information and Privacy Act (ATIP), the federal law that provides access to information to any Canadian citizen, permanent resident, temporary resident, and government department in Canadian citizenship. However, if you don’t fall under any of the above categories, you may have to follow certain criteria to apply for GCMS notes IRCC.

How many times can we apply for GCMS notes? Is there any limitation?

No issues at all . Sometimes AOR comes few days after you get biometric letter. Your application is complete and won’t be returned. They send biometric after doing R10 completeness check .
Miss bee:

I was once denied entry to the U.S. as I forgot the name of the town I was going to. Got no ban and visa wasn't cancelled. So I almost forgot that. And I forgot to mention it in my PNP. Just got my AOR and what do I do now?

Much appreciated!

PS: did some research on the forum. Do I sub webform and risk ban for misrepresentation or do I withdraw my application and apply again?

You need to send Updated Schedule A form and at bottom part there should be questions you have to answer truthfully . Update them asap otherwise you will be huge trouble and will 100% ban you from Canada. Hiding anything from CIC is so bad and consequences will be worst.

Yes I understand. I've already made an updated Schedule A form. Do I need signature at the end of the pdf? And Do I need to explain why I did not disclose this at the beginning?

You can attach letter of explanation describing this situation and mention all past refusals. It won’t be any issue. Fill Schedule A form again, then sign it and send it through webform.

Thank you, Miss bee.

Just submitted the webform with updated form and a sincere letter explaining all this. Hou likely I still get banned? At this point, do I need to seek assistance from professionals?
