Yes few people got AOR after 2 months. Right now AOR is taking more than 4-5 months.

I recently lost my status in Canada after my work permit extension application was refused. I had been on an open work permit as the spouse of someone on a PGWP, but my extension was denied because I forgot to attach my work permit support letter. Additionally, the refusal was based on insufficient proof that my spouse had skilled employment at the time. Had I submitted the letter, my application likely would have been approved.
Currently, I have three applications in my account:
I’ve acted quickly to restore my status, but I am now out of status and cannot work while my restoration is in progress. I’m concerned about whether this loss of status will impact my PR application, and I would appreciate any insights on what to expect next.

- PR application under the OINP Employer Job Offer Stream, which is in progress .
- Restoration of status application, which I submitted on September 17 (today).
- Refused work permit extension application, due to the missing support letter and insufficient proof of my spouse’s skilled employment. Received on September 17 (today).
- Application Received (AR): April 20
- AOR + ADR + BIL: August 14
- ADR Sent: August 14
- BIL Done: August 16
- BIL Approved: August 19
- Pre-Arrival Letter (PAL): August 23
- Medical Request: August 28
- Medical Exam Done: September 4
- Medical Approved: September 13
- FD: Next status I think...

I ordered GCMS and CBSA notes and received them today, on first page it says me and my husband:
Eligibility: Passed
Security: In Progress
Criminality: Passed
Medical: Passed
Info sharing: Complete
On last pages, Note 1 also shows:

So it looks like the only pending thing is security and under my spouse Security Screening section it shows:

Does this mean it will likely get delayed and can we do anything to get result faster ?
Also, received by CBSA , it means CSIS section is done or not ?

Absolutely. Officer working on your application has submitted security request to third parties to perform security checks. Looks like it’s normal security check. Security check is not done by IRCC . It is internally done by third party.
Mine is 4th of June, not AOR yet. Guys please share if you get AOR

I applied on May 17th and received the AOR and biometrics payment request yesterday (Sep 17th), exactly 4 months later.
I already provided biometrics in 2022 for study permit from India, which is valid for 10 years. Do I need to give biometrics again? Has anyone been in a similar situation?
