No my friend, In application you should mention a phone no who is currently living on your indian address, usually your parents. They will call Indian phone no and they should visit police station or they will contact to visit the address and suit witness

unfortunately, it will take around 3 weeks before the status changes to PCC is printed. after that another week for you to receive.

I sent an email to PCC Toronto & I am surprised their response below.
Is this person/PCC Section waiting for 6-8 weeks to reach & only then issue the PCC ?
My PCC Application Status already shows " PCC is clear and ready to be issued".
Dear Applicant,
PCC processing time 6 to 8 weeks. It will be issued as per the time frame.
Please share IRCC document for document submission last date.

I want to submit the PCC through Postal service (Toronto jurisdiction). I have few questions which are not answered on BLS website. I would appreciate if you let me know based on your experience.
1) Do we need to submit the original passport in the package? In check-list it says Passport (Original and Copy)
2) Does someone come to pick up the package at our place? If yes, when will they come? where is the information related to that?
3) How and where to pay the return postal fees?
4) Is demand draft amount $38.7 correct ?

You don't need to submit original passport, you need to call bls to book pickup and drop off, they will provide you airway bill nom to track the parcel after pickup, also you can schedule your pickup date, and after opting for this service, you can also go and drop off the documents to Purolator office but still you need to pay for pickup, check the demand draft amount on website. You need to pay pick up and drop off fees at same time.

Hi - My application to sponsor my parents is in progress. IRCC has sent PCC request for them today. They are currently in Toronto on Visitor Visa (for another 6 weeks). I understand BLS will take 6-8 weeks to issue PCC. But, as I said my parents are travelling back to India in 6 weeks. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me with these queries:
1) Is it possible if my parents submit the application and go back to India after 6 weeks as planned, and then I pick the PCCs from BLS on their behalf, if the PCCs comes after they are gone? I hope they won't ask for Original Passport of my parents at the time of collection of PCCs.
2) The BLS Checklist is also asking for "Canadian Address Proofs". My parents live in India, they are just visiting me here for 2.5 months, I assume here I can provide MY address proof along with the relationship proof. What do you suggest?
3) IRCC is expecting the PCC in 30days. Do you guys think I should request IRCC to make it 90days, just to have some buffer? Has anyone done that before? How long does IRCC take to respond to extension request?

PCC received today, even though on Consulate status is still "PCC has been printed" & on BLS website, it says "Ready for collection".
Did it take 32 days from Ready for Issuance to Printed?
Or you meant 03 June 2024?
Thanks for the details.Posting my timeline with BLS Brampton:
March 29: Sent my application to BLS Brampton with Purolator
April 3: Read in Facebook Groups that BLS is sending back all the applications back from March 15 because of a hike in processing fee (it applies to PCC as well)
April 4: Realizing that my application will be sent back, I walked into BLS Brampton using their Premium Lounge service (additional 100$ just for the service).
Note: Did not go for their postal service again as Purolator fee was increased to 120$+ and I had to leave the country on April 5 for three weeks.
April 5: Application status changed from received to in transit to Consulate General on BLS Canada website.
April 7: Application received at Consulate General
April 8: Application under review at Consulate General
April 20: Police Verification has been initiated and a request has been sent to Indian Embassy/Consulate- Received an email confirmation as well.
April 29: Police officer called the local mobile number back in India and also went to the address on file for verification.
April 29: Police verification is clear and PCC is available for issuance.
May 1: (late at 11:30 PM EST): Emailed the Consulate General of Toronto asking to expedite the request as I have already received the ITA. Email ID: (pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in)
May 2 at 9:30 AM: Received a reply back from CGI saying that the PCC has been printed and handed over to BLS for dispatch. Status also got updated in CGI's website- Police Clearance Certificate has been printed.
May 3: Waiting for further updates, but I am hoping to pick it up by early next week.

Just a suggestion: Don't go for the postal application, the charges for postal application are more than 120+, instead of that, choose BLS Canada's Premium Lounge service for 100$ and get it done in the early hours itself if you are unable to find regular appointment dates. With postal application, there's also the risk of the application coming back to you if there are any mistakes. Use postal application only if you don't have an emergency

When u say you walkedin and used Premium services, did u book an appointment for Premium services? If you just walkedin,was there a wait for premium services?
On the appointment page, Premium services option is always available for all the upcoming days.
I am assuming why people stand in queues for hours instead of just using Premium services.
Do we still need to be in long queue and then request PS at our turn or they consider PS candidates for quick service?

Hi, I applied for my PCC on April 5th.. it reached india ( local police station) on 19th April and today it’s august 12 .. the tracking shows “ processing at consulate general “ .. I contacted every police station .. the local , head office, the DSp office.. the last verbal update my family member in India got was 2 weeks ago and advise them that PCC has been dispatched. No update since then.. don’t know how to track other than bls website. 4 months and still counting for PCC in india is ridiculous!!!
You may try raising a Sampark query at the Passport seva portal. I read in some blogs that people do it when the application is stuck.
