As the title states, can I use my expired PR card and COPR to cross the land-border into Canada AFTER I have already applied for my new PR card?
I would like to know if my expired PR card can still be used to travel into Canada via land-border if I have already applied for a new PR card, or will my expired card become "invalid" as a travel document once the application for a new PR card is made?
I have heard that your old PR card becomes "invalid" after application for a new card, but I am not sure this applies for land-border crossing with expired PR cards.
I have my COPR document and I meet my Residency Obligation.
Any advice is appreciated.
