How to obtain PCC for my parents who visited Canada few years ago and stayed for more than 6 months? They stayed in Ottawa.

Congrats to anyone received PPR! How long does it usually take from submission to get the sposor eligibility passed?

family information form IMM5406. It says "You (the principal applicant) must fill out this form for yourself and on behalf of any of your family members 18 years of age or older who are not already Canadian citizens or permanent residents. "

So should I not include myself (the sponsor) as I am already a Canadian citizen? I have seen people here get the following instructions to resubmit this form. This contradicts the above instructions. Should I list myself on the form anyways to be safe?

For Section B, please ensure that you include ALL children, including ALL
adopted, step-children, and those who are currently a Canadian citizen or
permanent resident, regardless of age.

i have received a letter from cic asking to resubmit the from IMM 5768 - financial evaluation for parents and and grandparents sponsorship. i am sure when submitting my file I had submitted this form then why they asking me to resubmit it. can somebody let me know. because I don not know much all about this. do I need to fill a the form all over and send OR can I send the same one - old one. thanks

This might be a generic letter that you have received as I received the same with file number. I didn’t re-submit and received biometrics a month later. You don’t have to re-submit if you’ve already submitted while applying.

Any Parents or Grand Parents going to Manitoba for the first time? I notice that now for Manitoba Health their website states "If you are moving to or returning to Manitoba from outside of Canada, coverage eligibility is based on proof of your legal status in Canada and your residence in Manitoba. Canadian citizens and permanent residents may apply for coverage from the date of arrival in Manitoba. When you apply, you will need to provide a copy of your passport and all Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada documents which have been issued to you and your spouse and minor children (under 18 years). You will also need to provide proof of your residence in Manitoba."

I remember before that it was "You are eligible for coverage on your date of arrival in Manitoba when proof of Permanent Resident Status is provided".

I called and they say might two week to the Health Card, do I have to get a private health coverage while waiting?
I hope someone from this forums are form Manitoba and can share their experience. Thanks

You can check in your portal after you login IRCC website.

YOU CAN ASK FOR EXTENSION. ALSO ATTACH ANY PROOF WHICH SHOWS KENYA TAKES 3 MONTHS FOR PCC. YOU WILL BE GIVEN EXTENSION.
