COPR cancelled and reissued

Hello,

Wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar.

My wife and son were issued their COPRs as Outland dependents, however when they soft landed in Canada they were told that the COPR they landed on had been cancelled and a new one issued but not yet finalized.

Subsequently we received an email

quote

Please be advised that COPR’s have been re-issued and are awaiting to be finalized by landings.

unquote

We don’t know if the matter has been taken care of, if anything needs to be done at our end or do we need to hire a consultant or lawyer to advise.

Appreciate any advice in this matter.

Have you received your eCoPR yet? Were their passports seized at the airport upon landing?

I did received my ecopr & PR card as well, they were told their original COPR was cancelled and another issued, for reasons unknown and without any corresponding or updating us in this matter.

Try calling IRCC. Yes, it might take some time to get through, but hopefully they can answer the question of what you need to do.

I did try calling, goes into a never ending loop, finally raised webforms, really frustrating, don't know why it was done and not even communicated.

Webforms can take weeks and weeks to even get opened. Doesn't mean it's the wrong way, just tht you want it quicker.
