Settling quebec after receiving federal PR

I recently obtained my PR after I did a soft landing in Toronto (city of destination is Toronto). I returned to my home country after obtaining my PR. However, I am thinking of moving permanently to Canada by the end of this year. Can I move and live in Montreal instead of Toronto? Is it legal given I obtained my PR through the Federal express entry program? Thanks

As a PR you can live anywhere you want and have no obligations about that. But the question maybe asked sooner or later, just be prepared for that.

You are not required to be in Canada a certain amount a day every year to maintain your status. What major BS is this, when I got my COPR stamped it says there that you must stay 2 years out of 5 years but you can choose to not be In Canada 3 years straight and still maintain your PR.

So stop spreading lies.
