Here’s my latest update - logged into my account as I had hoped to get an update by the end of May given I received my PAL end of April and everything else has been completed. My application status had changed from submitted to profile updated.

Once I clicked that to view my full application status, I got this update -

Latest update:
Final decision - June 4, 2024:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Not really sure what that means, possibly just final security has been passed or something and they are now onto the last stage of making the final decision.

Anyway I’m guessing it’s a good thing?! :D:rolleyes:

How long does it take to receive acknowledgment for the documents, I've submitted? Below is the current status for the ADR (Schedule A & Police report)
  • The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.
Medical and Biometrics done!
I think it took about 2 weeks for me! Everything submitted by Jan 30th, acknowledged Feb 8th and changed to additional documents are being reviewed on Feb 12th.

It finally happened…

My PR application was approved yesterday!

It feels a bit surreal after such a long wait and almost giving up all hope!

As I’m already in Canada the next steps are to register for the eCoPR portal. I received an email asking to confirm some basic details such as eye color, height, address in Canada, original entry date, full name as written on passport etc. And next steps after that are to submit a photo for my PR card.

Here’s my full self-employed PR timeline:
Application received in Sydney, NS - 12/24/2020
Temp AOR - 01/15/2021
AOR & application linked to online account - 5/12/2023
Biometrics request - 5/12/2023
Biometrics submitted - 5/16/2023
Medical request + ADR - 1/15/2024
Medical done - 1/23/2024
Medical passed - 1/30/2024
Additional documents submitted - 1/30/2024
Confirmation of uploads - 2/8/2024
Confirmation of all additional documents received - 2/12/2024
Invitation to pre-arrival services - 4/26/2024
Final Decision changed from application in progress to - Final decision: June 4th, 2024
Invitation to register for the COPR portal (within Canada applicants) - 6/7/2024

Good Luck to everyone who’s still waiting!! :)

UPDATE: We finally got another ADR (IMM 5406, 2023 tax info, and canadian bank account info) on May 29, 30, and June 7. As we still want to know how long it will actually take them to give us an answer, we sent them in!

Were any of you asked for these specific documents in ADR?

Wonder what's next......

Anyone got experience getting eCOPR yet? The process is so slow. I've been at stage 2 of the portal for 5 weeks and no eCOPR doc yet.

Thanks so much for this. My worry is I cant find from number 6 down on my MyCIC online windows instead this is what I see; There are no required documents for this Online Application. I have sent webform attaching the document i was asked to provide within 7 days and informing them of the issue with the online portal. Hope it will be rectified and they get the documents..
