November 2023 **inland** spousal applications

I think most of us are waiting background check completion.
It looks like September applicants' backgrounds are almost completed this month..
so i believe we will get background completion in May.
I was having a look on thread and observed that some applicants who applied in early November their background checks are done and have even received the portal links for COPR information.
Though i’m in the same boat as you all. Still waiting for background check to be marked as complete.
The invitation to apply for CSQ usually occurs after the sponsor has already been determined as eligible at the federal level -- so since I've gone through the CSQ and undertaking process at the provincial level and got the approvals, those have been sent to IRCC.
So I'm currently waiting for IRCC to send the AIP and SA now that they have the provincial approvals from Quebec. After that, I assume the eligibility will be marked as completed on my trackers, and then I'll be waiting on the medical request so that I can go and get that taken care of/completed. I'm thinking the AIP/SA will arrive toward the middle or end of April and then the medical will be late April or sometime in May.
My background check has been in progress since December, so hopefully that will be completed in May as well.

Received my open work permit correspondence letter today. Hoping for a positive result soon on my OWP.

I applied for OWP on January 10th. Received the OWP Yesterday. This might help you track your timeline.

Most of us are waiting for BG complete.
We expect BG completion within 2 months
